Pravachana Gange — a river of discourse

Moved by the discourses of Poojya Lingananda Appaji, renowned in the Kannada land as the father of pravachana, she received jangama diksha from Poojya Mate Mahadevi, longing to rise from a human birth toward the divine. Standing shoulder to shoulder with Lingananda Appaji and Mataji in the work of carrying to the people the dharma and the vachana literature given by Guru Basavanna, she gave discourses on all 365 days of the year across Karnataka, Maharashtra and Telangana, sowing the seed of Basava in the homes and hearts of the land and flowing as a Ganga of pravachana. Poojya Ganga Mataji comes from Bidar district, the land of the Sharanas. As the second pontiff of the Akkamahadevi Anubhava Peeta she gave the land more than 400 discourses on universal dharma. Today, as the third pontiff of Basava Dharma Peeta, she leads the followers of the Lingayat faith, and through her discourses has become a household name across the land.
